Have you always wanted to illuminate your very own 14th-century treatise on the chivalric niceties of the Burgundian court? Yes? Well you’re in luck. According to Lit Hub contributor Rebecca Rego Barry, over at Fine Books & Collections, the New York Academy of Medicine Library is hosting its seventh annual coloring festival, for which:

Libraries, museums, and archives around the world have uploaded the latest batch of coloring books based on rare books, prints, and maps from their collections.

I never quite understood the whole adult coloring book thing, but I will absolutely be applying my very own personal Gen X dirtbag palette to The Book of Kells (or something like it). Read more about the festival here.
