Suffrage Saturday: Take a Break!

Suffrage Saturday: Take a Break!

Wow! The end of the semester is almost here! We know how busy you are and we’d like to encourage you to take a moment for yourself. Short breaks help to recharge during stressful times like finals.

By now, we’re sure you’ve seen our OCL-themed coloring pages. We know we love taking a break with markers and crayons and we hope you do too, because for today’s Suffrage Saturday, we’ve gathered a bunch of coloring page resources featuring important women from America’s history.

Above is a page featuring our very own Mary Church Terrell from the Dover Coloring Book Famous African-American Women. Follow this link to download this image, as well as others from this book. You will also find a cool Lucy Stone postage stamp coloring page and two images from Remembering the Ladies: From Petticoats to Presidential Candidates by Carol Simon Levin. You can also check out this 2017 HuffPost article that features many more printables of fierce women from US and world history. Share your finished pages and tag us so we can see!

And so, in the words of another great American woman (or at least the words of her character in the hottest musical), we’d like to say “TAKE A BREAK.” You deserve it!
