Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post on ~Foodie with a Passion~! Happy Saturday everyone and I hope you’re having a great weekend so far. This week was the third Thursday of the month so it’s Fred Meyer Military Discount Day 🥳 And boy, did I shop til I dropped and I saved $57 on this shopping trip according to the receipt. Alrighty! We’ve got a laundry list of the items I got so without further ado, here we go ~

- Lowfat Vanilla Yogurt – for Hubby’s smoothies
- Sour Cream – buy 2 to use the coupon and it was already on sale
- Cream Cheese – free with coupon
- Italian Style and Pizza Shreds – I’m planning to make some pizzas and pasta bakes to throw in the freezer
- Medium Cheddar Slices – also free with coupons
- Heavy Cream – for mashed potatoes and creamy pastas
- 2% Reduced Fat Milk – for my baking and Hubby’s smoothies, cookies and brownies
- 18-ct Eggs – coupon with already reduced prices; now I can do more baking again
- Colby Jack, Monterey Jack and Vermont Sharp White Cheddar Block Cheese – my snacking cheeses. The white cheddar is apparently a close out item so I grabbed one

- Ground Turkey – 3 lb Turkey that was on sale and I had a $5 off coupon. We usually package it in 1 lb increments
- Tomato – slicing tomato for burgers and sandwiches next week
- Strawberries – on sale for $2.50
- Vegetable Medley – a huge bag of veggies; I’ll probably freeze half of it
- Basil – I picked up a reduce price fresh mozzarella and we still have cherry tomatoes so I’ll have our roommate make his Caprese salad. And I’ll be doing Margherita pizza
- Green Onion – for my Japanese miso pork soup
- Asparagus – on sale and we ended up using it for roasted veggies
- Bananas – our weekly batch of banana
- Salad Mix – salad mix for the week

- Viola! Garlic Shrimp – I had a coupon for this Viola series so I got the garlic shrimp
- Sheet Pan Meals Chicken with Sweet Potato and Brussels – I also had a coupon for this too
- Crispy Green Beans – I got this last time and loved it; I could probably make this on my own but I like the way it’s seasoned
- Butternut Squash – I had a coupon for this
- Green Beans – a quick and easy side dish
- Mixed Vegetables – for fried rice
- Triple Berry Blend – for Hubby’s smoothies
- Halo Top Peanut Butter Cup – free ice cream coupon
- Tater Tots – I ended up getting the bigger bag now that we have the bigger freezer

- All Purpose Flour – for my baking projects
- Bow Tie Pasta – I was just about out of pasta and with the shortage going on, I made sure to get a box
- Wide Egg Noodle – for Chicken Stroganoff that we made Thursday night
- Peanuts – I made more granola so I needed another bag
- Tomato Sauce – I bought long rice on our vacation and I wanted to make Chicken Long Rice
- Oatmeal – I bought the big box for granola and overnight oats
- Olives – for Chicken Long Rice
- Wildflower Honey – for granola
- Jif – Hubby swears by this stuff and I use it for granola
- Chicken Bouillon – almost out and I needed to replenish
- Cheerios – also almost out so I got more. It was on sale and I had a coupon
- Flour Tortillas – for Enchiladas soon
- Carb Balance Flour Tortillas – for my breakfast burritos
- Onion Soup Mix – I add these to burgers, meatloaf and meatballs. Season your potatoes with this and roast them too. Comes out perfect every time
- Sesame Oil – completely out so I got another
- Southwest Salsa – my favorite mild salsa. It has black beans and corn in it
- Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce – completely out; I forgot to grab one at Costco the other day
- Black and Navy Beans – on sale and I love cooking dry beans in the Instant Pot
- Mini Chocolate Chips – for granola and cookies
