Happy Saturday, friends! The girls and I are gearing up for some shenanigans today as Matt is on his way out the door and we hustle to get some last minute Father's Day prep work out of the way while he's gone.
First, we'll be working on replacing one of Matt's favorite, but very old and ratty, t-shirts. Unfortunately, we weren't able to find a replacement of the exact shirt, but thanks to a great freebie SVG file from my favorite SVG source, Caty Catherine, I was able to find a similar graphic and we'll be using the Cricut to print it out and place it on a nice, crisp new shirt!
Next, we're hoping to put up the awesome super hero signs we got a few weeks ago from a neighbor in our local Buy Nothing group. We wanted to surprise him with a full garage makeover, but he just has entirely too many tools.
Of course, no Father's Day surprise would be complete without planning a menu full of Dad's favorite foods, so we'll be heading to the grocery store to pick up some steak, potatoes, and asparagus.
Now that all of this is in writing, I'm thinking we might have to rearrange the order of things, but we'll be getting it done. Matt is an amazing father and we love doing things that show him just how much we adore him!
