About the Author Janine Turner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker residing in Richmond, Virginia. While traveling through her path in life, Janine opened herself up to areas of interest which brought a smile to her face and joy to her soul. She discovered that digital manipulation of photographic images and belly dance fit those categories so she pursued both the technical and expressive aspects of these art forms. As she delved further into the belly dance community she found it to be an empowering and personally affirming medium not only for herself but also for others who participate in the dance. With that in mind, she chose to share the culture and alchemy of American Tribal Style® belly dance through the development of this book. Janine spends her time growing as a psychotherapist, an instructor of Photoshop, and a teacher, performer, and director of American Tribal® Style Belly Dance.
